4.4 Measurements

During the POLLUMET campaign a variety of meteorological and chemical measurements were made (Neininger; 1993). The following data were used for comparisons with the model results:

Data from the Swiss network of air quality monitoring stations. These stations measure ozone, nitrogen oxides and meteorological parameters in a temporal resolution of half an hour. Additional stations of the same type, but run by local authorities were also available and used for the comparison, presented here.

Aircraft data obtained by the NCAR ``King Air'' team led by Greg Kok.
