The Europenean PAUR-project investigated the influence of stratospheric ozone depletion onto summer smog in the troposphere. For this reason a three dimensional summer smog study over Athens for 4, 5, 6, and 7 July was carried out with MetPhoMod. During this episode, Athens experienced wind from the north which carried the plume out to the sea. The pictures below show this plume in a three dimensional representation.
