The Swiss-British collaboration started when Evi Schuepbach did her research for the degree of a Ph. D. at UEA Norwich (1991-94). Initial funding was offered from the British Council. Further funding came from the School of Environmental Sciences, the Swiss Federation of University Women, and the Swiss Alpha Foundation. Evi Schuepbach also became a Research Associate in UEA-ENV on the Montsouris Ozone Project (directed by Prof. Trevor D. Davies). After Evi Schuepbach's return to Switzerland, the British Council has continued funding her scientific collaboration with the U.K.
